More Ft. Williams

We are at our first bed and breakfast. The family is nice, kind of grandma type home ~ older couple. We took a ride on a Gondola up Ben Nevis, the highest peak in all of the UK. We were able to hike around for awhile before going back down. Very enjoyable and absolutely breath taking!!

We explored the ruins of a castle from the 13th century! This will be short, it is harder and harder to find WiFi. We are at a McDonalds!!! and it is packed.


On our way to Ft. William we stopped off at the most romantic castle. It was a really neat place!

Day 9

We have been in Kyle of Lochalsh for 2 days. We left a very beautiful hotel to the poor house :) here. It is very small, pretty old and kind of ugly. It has rained both days. Good thing we have good company!!! We did enjoy a glass bottom boat trip today and that was nice. Tomorrow we are going to Ft. William and on the way we are going to see Eileen Doonan Castle ~ "the most romantic castle in Scotland"!

Day 8

We had an amazing day at the beach in Durness. We had no idea that Scotland had beaches like this!!! Today we leave for the Kyle of Loch Alsh ~ near the Isle of Skye.

Day 7

This is our home for two nights!!! We are feeling very spoiled and BLESSED!!!



We are in Tongue. We were a little bit worried what it might be here ~ Tongue (just doesn't sound great). We have been pleasantly surprised!!! It is more beautiful and exactly how we imagined Scotland. God did amazing work here in Scotland and he especially blessed Tongue!

Day 6

Headed to Tongue today! I am not sure if we will have internet connection in the small town of 130 people.

Day 5

We had another exciting day! Have I mentioned that Scotland is amazing!!! We would never run out of incredible sights ~ God is Good ~ He gave us a beautiful world to enjoy:)

Today we found the Glenfiddich Distillary and had a tour ~

Then we went to Glenlivet Estates which is part of the Cairngorm National Park and had a hiked to the ruins of a 14th century castle ~ Drumin Castle. A very beautiful hike. Did i mention that everything is uphill here in Scotland:)

Day 3 and day 4

We missed blogging Day 3! We didn't have internet:( But WE GOT OUR CAR and left the big city of Edinburgh and headed to Beauly. It really is Beauly not Beauty:)

We had an amazing day of site seeing!!! We walked the Royal Mile and toured the entire Edinburgh Castle!!! It was beautiful and so very much fun!

First Day in Edinburgh Scotland

We're so very tired!!! When it was a little after midnight in Oklahoma City, we were beginning our morning in London. We have cat napped a few times today but are about to go to bed now. It is 8:15pm here and 2:15pm in Oklahoma:) We had fun sight seeing the amazing city of Edinburgh!!!
